MANAGING DIRECTOR APPOINTED FOR CAPESPAN EXPORTS ( Friday 23 December 2011 )

Abrie de Swardt will start his career at Capespan Exports on 16 January 2012.

He completed his MComm at the University of Stellenbosch and started his career at Sasol within the Commercial and Procurement Division.  As National Supply Chain Manager at Simba, De Swardt was awarded the PepsiCo Chairman award in 2001 for the successful launch of Doritos and the same award in 2003 for the "Most Foods SA" after which he joined Imperial Logistics as managing director. 

De Swardt will bring with him a vast amount of experience across all functional areas of business.
